"You are the light of the world, what you see or hear here share everywhere."

Cow "S*it bag" cleans water and produces energy from methane gas.

"I am t he door: by me if any man enter in he shall be saved and shall go in and out and find pasture." Jesus (John 10:9)

The following is the false assumption that led to my greatest innovation:

On rough land, management is your only option for spreading manure and maintaining the soil in good condition. Part of that management can include such things as grazing cattle, horses, sheep, goats, pigs, chickens, or turkeys together or one group behind the other. It can also include encouraging birds to feed in your pasture by putting up birdhouses for them to nest in. Birds digging and scratching in manure for insects help break it down and spread it

Life Tech

The first and most important innovation is the Hemp “Shit Bag” for cows, sheep, goats, yaks, water buffalo, and camels all of whose milk is capable of being consumed by humans. These bags are to be attached to an easily installed and removable holster that can held behind the “animal” to capture the excrement.

The “Shit Bag” is specially designed to increase the amount of time an animal grazes thereby increasing milk production, for keeping any repugnant scents away the individual animals as they graze, and ultimately exponentially increase the amount of pasture available to graze upon without the purchase of a single acre of land.

Such a bag known as the Bun-Bag TM (made for horses) is readily available off-the-shelf as Bucky would desire. If modified for cows to be big enough to carry a 50 lb load and used as an outer carrying bag, the Hemp “Shit Bag” liners could actually fit inside one of these Bun-Bags TM.

The reason I chose hemp for the bags is many fold. First. Hemp is a perfect food for silage.

Silage is fermented, high-moisture fodder that can be fed to ruminants (cud-chewing animals like cattle and sheep) or used as a bio fuel feedstock for anaerobic digesters.

Letniak et al. (2000) conducted an experimental trial of hemp as silage. No significant differences were found between yield of the hemp and of barley/oat silage fed to heifers, suggesting that fermenting hemp plants reduces possible harmful constituents. (Wikipedia)???

Which brings me to the second part of why I chose hemp for the “bags” which is this. Since these bags are made from Hemp they can be fed directly into a Puxin Technologies’ Anaerobic digester in order to produce methane gas. That eliminates the need for emptying a bag as, as soon as it is full it can be dumped directly into the digester. And it will increase the overall output of the digester. The Puxin Digester is a low tech anaerobic digester that can be built with little or no experience is already on the market and costs next to nothing with a virtual 100% success rate as opposed to many years of training that it takes to learn how to “seal the air out” of a conventional digester; not to forget to mention the “explosive” danger of cleaning conventional digesters.

The bags need to be capable of holding at least seven square feet of “cow pies” per cow per day or 40 to 50 pounds of this “fuel.” As cow pies are relatively flat that should not be too hard but even if the bags have to be fed into the digester more than once a day the fact that they can be simply taken off and thrown in “whole cloth” and without much “ado” greatly helps the adoptability of this project. It can be argued that the most valued workers on a farm will be those who can perform this task most efficiently.

Workers will be considered: “Worthy to walk in white.” (Rev 3:14) Wearing Protection: Sterile White Garments. White gas masks, white gloves and white boots to protect against contamination. “Let thy clothing always be white.” (Ecclesiastes). And, ideally work a four day work week of ten hours a day. The purpose of the white clothing is for visual inspection of contaminants while on the job.

Another reason for choosing to make the bags with Hemp is because each year tens of thousands of acres of forest and grass fires plague California which has a perfect climate for Hemp which grows almost like a weed there, often reaching full maturity in times which are measured in months as opposed to decades or longer for other conventional trees. Reforesting these areas with commercially grown hemp under strict environmental regulations would go a long way toward eliminating the hazards of deforested areas such as erosion, mudslides and wind damage. Perhaps even lowering the potential for future forest fires.

Jesus said: "Greater thing than this shall ye do," when referring to some of His miraculous deeds. In confirming and conferring the Title of The Tree of Life on the Hemp Plant, I, Gregory Stuart GOrDon in my duties as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords with the strokes of my keyboard have lived up to the expectation of Christ. According to the Bible the Tree of Life will bear twelve fruits each in due season. Yet, all told there are at least 12 times 12 great uses for the "fruits" of the Hemp Plant. Among them are certain medicinal properties that can be called near miraculous, such as restoring the appetite to people suffering from advanced Immune deficiencies, restoring sight to those with Glaucoma and insight to the pure in heart for they shall see God.

Innovation from China and My Plan to Rule the World. J

(Partly posted in 1997 at http://pages.prodigy.net/lightoftheworld/biogas.html)

Puxin Technolgies of China makes digesters for both humans and animals which is perfect for the second part of the plan is to clean up the slums, barrios and ghettos of Venezuela and or other parts of the under developed world with “public toilets” also using the Puxin digesters attached to modified U-domes from World shelters. I have provided a sketch of the interior of such a modified bathroom dome.

Give them toilets and pay them to use them. As I understand it many of these people earn less than $100.00 per year. Even a dime a day would help. Pay by the pound. Since at the present time many of these people would not even have a place to put toilets were someone to give toilets to them, the plan would be to set up public bathrooms using the Packaging Toilet at convenient locations to the poorest of the poor in Caracas.

Setting up these public bathrooms would have residual effects. Much of the current waste that goes untreated in these areas would be used to produce methane. A cleaner environment would mean better health and longer lives for the inhabitants of the area. Also it would become public policy to encourage better eating habits which would be helped along by the fact that people would now have more money with which to buy food which is also cheaper in these areas. They could buy more food and higher quality food both of which would be good for business.

Each bathroom would have at least one attendant on duty at all times. They would keep the place clean in order to encourage use, and also make payment for the deposited excrement. Naturally, whatever precautions necessary to insure the safety of the attendant in the handling of the money would be made. Perhaps credits could be made to cards or whatever other feasible and appropriate method of payment could be provided. Perhaps it could be arranged to have the crap go directly to an evaluating area for decisions about weight and gas production quality. Also located in each bathroom would be a collection area for excrement from the outside including animal dung which could be brought in to the extent that it is compatible with human feces during the gas production process.

This portion of the plan is much the same as last year’s Buckminster Fuller Challenge runner-up entry. The main difference is that this is aimed directly at high density slums as opposed to Bedouin Women. And the entity responsible for maintaining the toilets will remunerate those who make “deposits.” Preferably with food. But electrical credit could be given also and surplus gas could be sold or used for applications other than generating electricity directly.

The background facts…

General Facts on Cattle Production:

California...An Agricultural Powerhouse

California has the largest agricultural economy in the United States. In 2003, cash receipts for California's agricultural products totaled $27.8 billion, followed by Texas at $15.3 billion. Cattle and calves are sixth in the state's top 20 agricultural commodities.

Cattle and Beef Production in the United States and California

The beef industry is the largest segment of American agriculture and in 2003, U.S. cash

receipts from livestock and livestock product marketing was approximately $98.3 billion.

There are approximately 1.4 million jobs attributed to the U.S. cattle industry. In California, cash receipts for cattle and calves was $1.56 billion.

There are approximately 800,000 beef cattle producers in the United States, conducting

business in all 50 states and contributing economically to nearly every county in the nation. In California, there are approximately 14,000 beef cattle operations and 2,500 dairy farms. On January 1, 2005 there were 95.8 million cattle in the United States and in California 5.4 million head. There are 720,000 beef cows and 1.74 million dairy cows in California. Other classes of cattle that contribute to the total number include heifers over 500 pounds (1.08 million), steers over 500 pounds (670,000), bulls (70,000) and calves under 500 pounds (1.12 million).

Total beef production in the United States during 2003 was 26.2 billion pounds (35.5

million head of cattle). In 2003, cattle averaged about 1,234 pounds before harvest. The

2003 average carcass weight was 746 pounds, which translates into about 522 pounds of

marketable beef. In California, approximately 1.4 million head were harvested under federal inspection and weighed an average 1,274 pounds. (www.Calbeef.org)

Facts specific to this plan:

California's Central Valley is home to 891,000 milk cows -- up 42 percent from a decade ago. These dairy herds are soiling this valley every year with as much natural waste as a city of 21 million people.

Unknown to many milk can be frozen, (Though it does lose a bit of its potency and character mainly with floating particles). Thereby making long range transport, long term storage and on-demand use possible. This hidden fact is one of many behind my plan.

Milk is rich in protein and calcium. Both of which are necessary for: “healthy bones and body.” And milk is arguably the most reliable and easily obtainable source of high quality protein for humans.

And the argument that certain portions of the populace can not “tolerate lactose” does not hold up as babies who “never stop” drinking milk, through childhood, adolescence and on into adulthood rarely develop this symptom, regardless of race. Therefore looking out into the future we could anticipate that were the children of today started on milk with a continuous and assured supply they would not develop this “lactose intolerance.” Thus, maintaining a rich source of easily obtainable the nutrients that the body needs to grow strong and maintain its health throughout whole lifetimes.

Milk prices have soared recently, putting a strain on shoppers' budgets and on businesses that rely on dairy products including pizza makers and chocolatiers like Hershey's.

(ABCNEWS)

(October 2008) In the past two months, the average retail price for a gallon of whole milk increased by 19 cents to $3.26. But that's still well short of the June 2004 record high of $3.57 a gallon for whole milk. Much of the blame for the higher prices has been placed on corn-based ethanol. As farmers divert more ears of corn to be turned into energy instead of selling it as feed for livestock, prices have soared and dairy farmers are now paying more to feed their cows.

The average California cow produces 19,825 pounds of milk each year, more milk per cow than any other state in the nation. That's 2,305 gallons of milk a year or about 8 gallons of milk every day of her milking period. That’s enough for 128 people to have a glass of milk every day! (www.MooMilk.com)

All of that is well and good, but, with milk comes manure; an environmental hazard of epic proportions if not properly treated.

Green Milk:

Manure happens. Two trillion, 730 million pounds of it every year. That, according to a report of the Senate Agriculture Committee, is the waste produced by the 58 million beef cattle, 103 million hogs, 300 million turkeys and 7.6 billion chickens that are raised and slaughtered in the United States every year.

That's 130 times more waste from farm animals than is produced by every human being in this country. It's five tons of animal droppings for every single American. And it's untreated and unsanitary, bubbling with chemicals and disease-bearing organisms.

It's got to go somewhere, and it does. It goes onto the soil and into the water that many people will, ultimately, bathe in and wash their clothes with and drink. It is poisoning rivers and killing fish and sickening people.

--In 60 percent of American rivers and streams that the Environmental Protection Agency has identified as impaired, agricultural runoff and nutrients from animal waste are the greatest pollutants.

--Manure washed from feedlots is blamed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for impairing fisheries along 60,000 miles of streams. Surveys find animal waste is degrading 1,785 bodies of water in 39 states.

--Pollution from factory farms impairs more miles of U.S. rivers than all other industry sources and municipal sewers combined. Each cow typically produces as much waste as 24 humans.

When a cow pie hits the ground, it immediately has a "zone of repugnance" around it that measures about 25 feet in diameter [8 meters?]! Consequently, at low stocking densities a lot of forage can be rejected around cow pies. High stocking densities can decrease the zone of repugnance down to the manure itself, but it isn't a good practice to force animals to eat right up to their manure because of the parasites it contains, and because dry matter intake probably would be decreased.

And as I saw on television, (I don’t remember the citation) cows that are given 60,000 dollar water beds to sleep on and soothing music to listen to increase their output by amazing factors. In the final analysis a cow who doesn’t have to “eat shit” is a productive cow with a “shit eating smile.” J

Conclusion:

As noted at the GENI.org web site, “trading partners rarely go to war.”

This entry is designed to help alleviate the tensions between Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez’s Government and The United States by providing a much need quantity of milk in exchange for oil.

Once implemented, milk will become a primary export of California, and although there ultimately will no longer be a need for major amounts of oil… in the interim, oil will flow like a river from Venezuela, there will be fewer power blackouts or brownouts, Employment opportunities in both regions will increase, the United States’ balance of trade will improve dramatically, dare I say exponentially, and cooperation between left and right will be spontaneous.

Dedication:

Dedicated to “Coach Pinfield” (MTV VJ Matt Pinfield’s dad and my brother Wayne’s favorite football coach), who always said that until we got our plays right we had to: “…practice ‘til the cows come home.”

And in remembrance of my first place award winning performance in the 1974 New Jersey Institute for Political and Legal Education Model Congress Chairmanship Competition in which I pulled out an actual glass of milk and gulped it down in support of milk subsidies for school children while making the statement: “We are not talking about theory or money we are talking about milk, real milk, with which to feed and nourish poor school children.” (It was at this point that I gulped down the milk).

I won the competition and became Speaker of the House for that year’s Model Congress.
